Elementary

I was born and raised in this amazing community and graduated from PHS in 1994. I have always been lucky enough to call Pomeroy my home.  After college, I returned home to farm with my husband Jacob. We have been blessed with two sons, Jace and Trent. Pomeroy has always been a caring and welcoming community and I am so grateful I am able to give back as the Elementary Principal and Superintendent.

I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I completed my Master’s Degree in Technology in Education through Lesley University and was Nationally Board Certified in November 2009. In 2015 I earned my Principal Certification from Gonzaga University. I am a life-long learner and will continue to look for opportunities for educational growth.

Teaching has always been my passion and I love that I get to interact with our youth every day. I taught for eleven years in Pomeroy. Teaching kindergarten, sixth grade and finally settled into third grade. I transitioned into the Elementary Principal position in 2015, and then added the duties of Superintendent in 2016.

We have an amazing staff that works hard to inspire, teach and love all of our students. I am thankful that I have the opportunity to be part of a team and make a difference in a child’s life.
