Volunteer

Pomeroy Elementary always has its’ doors open for volunteers. Volunteer opportunities may include working with students in the classroom in reading, writing, and mathematics. Teachers and staff may also need assistance with making copies and other organizational needs.

To be a volunteer you must be 19 years of age or a high school graduate. Our district looks for individuals that display an understanding of how to relate to students and have a commitment to empathy, dignity, self-esteem, and skill-building.

To become a volunteer, you must complete the volunteer agreement and meet all the conditions specified in the agreement. In addition, a Washington State Patrol Criminal history information check will be completed. Please return forms to the district office.
