LOCATION: Pomeroy Junior Senior High School, Pomeroy WA.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold or qualify for a Washington State teaching certificate with proper endorsements, or have the ability to obtain required endorsements.
DEMONTRATED ABILITIES:
- Plan, implement, and assess instruction aligned to learning targets and state standards (CCSS & NGSS).
- Maintain high expectations for student achievement.
- Use multiple data sources, including Smarter Balanced resources, to adjust instruction and monitor progress.
- Develop and administer standards-aligned assessments.
- Communicate student progress and school programs to students, families, and patrons.
- Identify individual learning needs and collaborate with Special Education staff to support individualized plans.
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment using trauma-informed (ACES) practices.
- Integrate technology to enhance instruction and classroom management.
- Demonstrate collegial collaboration and continuous instructional improvement, including working closely with the science team.
- Support and supervise student activities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of TPEP with emphasis on the 5D-CEL model.
COMPENSATION:
Placement on the GCEA Allocation Salary Schedule. Current salary scale range: $52,096-$93,918
