Nayely Larios.
When the WIAA / DOH started requiring Covid testing, and then the tests changed mid-stream to a more complicated test, Nayely would come in and help me (and Fred) get the materials out of their individual packages and set up for testing. This enabled us to get students tested and out to class faster. She was there every testing day – sometimes 2 or 3 days a week – to help us get things done. She’d even help me double-check my record keeping to make sure I was keeping accurate records of the testing.
Nayely served as the team manager for the Girls Basketball team. She packed the medical kit, ball bag, folded warmups, and filled water bottles – all things that needed to be done for the team. She did them with a smile and attended practices and games to be there for the team. (Tai & Gena, anything you could add here?)
I do not have Nayely in class this year, but I recall her being a dedicated student in my classes. She was polite to everyone and worked hard.
