Description
Secondary Mathematics Position teaching the following courses:
Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Dual Credit courses in Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Stats
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must hold or qualify for a Washington State teaching certificate with proper endorsements, or have the ability to obtain required endorsements, including dual credit teaching requirements through an accredited college.


DEMONTRATED ABILITIES:

• Plan, implement, and assess instruction aligned to learning targets and state standards (CCSS).
• Maintain high expectations for student achievement.
• Use multiple data sources, including Smarter Balanced resources, to adjust instruction and monitor progress.
• Develop and administer standards-aligned assessments.
• Communicate student progress and school programs to students, families, and patrons.
• Identify individual learning needs and collaborate with Special Education staff to support individualized plans.
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment using trauma-informed (ACES) practices.
• Integrate technology to enhance instruction and classroom management.
• Demonstrate collegial collaboration and continuous instructional improvement, including working closely with the science team.
• Support and supervise student activities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of TPEP with emphasis on the 5D-CEL model.
