DESCRIPTION OF THE CURRENT ASSIGNMENT:
Provide leadership, supervision, and organization of a specific interscholastic activity, teaching all aspects of the sport including fundamentals and strategies to individuals or groups. To take on Head coaching responsibilities for the season beginning April 8th, 2024
Requirements
DEMONSTRATED ABILITIES/PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
• take a genuine interest in every student participant by teaching core fundamentals and empowering the improvement of every student-athlete
• demonstrates a clear and consistent focus on creating continuity in the sport from level-to-level and year-to-year
• a willingness to timely communicate with student-athletes, parents, and others about the progress of the individual and team
• modeling and reinforcing professional conduct in adverse situations
• formulate decisions based on the school’s mission in relation to the student-athlete and team
• diligence in keeping current with all aspects of the sport, including requirements for coaching certification
• seeking to learn and grow as an advocate for student-athletes and the sport within the school’s mission

QUALIFICATIONS TO FILL THE CURRENT ASSIGNMENT:
• Pomeroy School District #110 is seeking to fill the current vacancy based upon the applicant’s abilities to meet criteria outlined in the Job Description.
