Pomeroy School District
Distinguished Alumni Award
Purpose: The students, staff, and school board of Pomeroy School District would like to recognize Pomeroy alumni who have had significant impact upon the community around them and the world. Highly successful Pomeroy alumni need to be recognized as his/her success began in the Pomeroy community. Nominees will be determined by a committee of Pomeroy School District employees and at least one school board member.
Qualifications: Any graduate from Pomeroy School District is qualified to receive this award.
Process: Anyone may nominate alumni. We would like a list of accomplishments, current and/or past positions held, and impact upon our world. The more detailed the nomination the better the committee can get to know the candidate. Winners of the award will be recognized with a plaque at graduation each year.
